HANAMAKI ‐ MATSURI

You can experience MIKOSHI mixed with locals. Hanamaki Matsuri has been held for over 400 years as a festival of Toyagasaki Shrine. There are more than 100 Mikoshis, gorgeous floating cars, folklore deer dancing, Kagura, and elegant festival music gathering this festival. The most overwhelming scenery is 114 Hanamaki Mikoshis, which is world-record for the number of Mikoshi. You can join the festival parade carrying Mikoshi with locals for three days.
